The Desert around the City

During the work at Villaggio Coppola “the city of man”, walking down the coast, I went in both directions, up to Licola and up to Mondragone.
The Domitian coast was visioned as an area perfect for tourism during the 70’s, but excessive buildings, carelessness, concealment of toxic waste and the indiscriminate extraction of sands, supported by the Mafia, led to the radical transformation of its geographical territory.
